These evidenced based, interactive in person classes offer a truly
comprehensive Childbirth Education with a focus on Lamaze based
relaxation and coping techniques. Childbirth Education formatted on that
childbirth is a normal, natural, and healthy process that profoundly affects

women and their families.

Childbirth Small Group Classes

Ideal for all new Mom’s and their support person in the end of 2nd trimester or
beginning of their 3rd trimester.
These inclusive, evidenced based, interactive, Lamaze based in person small group
prenatal classes for you and your support person offer a truly comprehensive
traditional Childbirth Education. Together we take a progressive look at the 4 stages
of Childbirth beginning with the 3 rd  Trimester of Pregnancy, Tips on some Common
Pregnancy Issues, Why a Birthing Ball is your New Best Friend, What is Informed
Consent, How to Cultivate a Positive Mind Set, then moving forward into the
Lamaze 6 Healthy Birth Practices, Why a Birth Preference Sheets can be beneficial,

Detailed Helpful Information on the Labor Process including the 3 phases of Stage 1
(Labor), Childbirth- both Vaginal and Cesarean, What’s a Placenta?, the Why and
When of Skin to Skin, How to Navigate Postpartum both Physically and Mentally,
Basic Newborn Care including Diapering Practice on Lifesize Dolls, Tips on New
Parenting ‘101’, and offered throughout the classes are a variety of different
Mediative Relaxation, Breathing, and Comfort and Coping Techniques to help you
during your unique childbirth journey.   Knowledge is power!

Private Classes Available

Lamaze Based Childbirth Weeknight Course includes 4 consecutive weekly 3.75-
hour class sessions from 5:30 – 9:15 pm, with a 15 minute break about ½ way
through
Cost for group classes: $225 total   Includes all 4 classes for you and your support
person

2026 Childbirth Class Dates:    
All childbirth evening classes start promptly at 5:30pm. 
Childbirth Class Series: Tuesdays & Thursdays (Thursdays are typically are
filled after Tuesdays slots) 

There is Private Cesarean Birth Class availability & Private Childbirth and
Breastfeeding class availability through early December.

You are encouraged to bring any drinks and food you may want during class. 
Dress comfortably and bring your birthing ball or a pillow for extra cushioning to sit
