Welcome to your Evidenced Based Childbirth Classes!
These interactive, inclusive, evidence based classes offer a truly comprehensive education with the focus on that childbirth is a normal, natural, and healthy process that profoundly affects women and their families.
Ideal for all new mom’s and their support person in the end of 2nd trimester or the beginning of the 3rd trimester. Classes are taught by an RN and progressively cover the 4 Stages of Childbirth, from the 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy with common pregnancy issues, Why a birthing ball is your new best friend, What is & How to make an Informed Decision, How to cultivate and maintain a Positive Mind, Examples of Birth Preference Sheets & how to create one, Lamaze 6 Healthy Birth Practices & how that may look like at a hospital, the Labor Process in complete detail, Comfort Measures & Coping Strategies for Labor Pain with learning a variety of different relaxation techniques, breathing practices, and meditations, Birth- both Vaginal and Cesarean, the Importance of Skin to Skin, What’s a Placenta, How to Plan for and Navigate the Postpartum Period both physically and mentally, Basic Newborn Care including practicing swaddling, burping, and diapering on life-sized dolls. This comprehensive information is to help you & your support person manage and cope during your unique childbirth journey. Knowledge is Power!
