These evidenced based, interactive classes offer a comprehensive traditional Lamaze based Childbirth Education with a focus on that childbirth is a normal, natural, and healthy process that profoundly affects women and their families.
Lamaze Based Childbirth Group Classes
Ideal for all new Mom’s and their support person in the end of 2nd trimester or beginning of their 3rd trimester.
These inclusive, evidenced based, interactive small group prenatal classes for you and your support person offer a truly comprehensive traditional Lamaze Based Childbirth Education. Together we take a progressive look at the 4 stages of Childbirth with a focus on the 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy, Tips on some Common Pregnancy Issues, Why a Birthing Ball is your New Best Friend, What is Informed Consent, How to Cultivate a Positive Mind Set, the Lamaze 6 Healthy Birth Practices, Detailed Information on the Labor Process including the 3 phases of Labor, Childbirth- both Vaginal and Cesarean, What’s a Placenta, How to Navigate Postpartum, Skin to Skin, Basic Newborn Care including Diapering, Burping, and Swaddling Practice on Lifesize Dolls, New Parenting Tips, and offered throughout the classes are a variety of different Mediative Relaxation, Breathing, and Comfort Techniques to help you during your unique childbirth journey. Class Types Available
*Lamaze Based Childbirth Weeknight (WN) class includes 4 consecutive weekly 3.75-hour evening class sessions from 5:15-9:00 pm. Minimum attendance of 3 couples required. Indicate Class Start Date desired when you register.
Cost: $200 total no refunds
*Lamaze Based Childbirth Weekend (WE) Class includes 2 consecutive Saturdays. These two 8-hour class sessions are from 09:00 am-5:00 pm, am and pm break times vary, lunch break approx. from 12:00-1:00 pm. Minimum attendance of 3 couples required. Indicate Class Start Date desired when you register.
