A home visit lactation consultation is a very convenient service offered for new moms. Mothers are more comfortable breastfeeding in their homes and babies tend to respond better in their familiar, quiet environment.

Payment of services is required the day of services prior to being rendered. Payment options are by either cash, check, or Venmo.

Getting Started is Easy

Initial Home Visit:

Time for visit is approx. 60-90 minutes

Fee $200

  • Assessment and analysis of the breastfeeding process and mother and baby related to breastfeeding
  • Assistance in initiating breastfeeding
  • Evaluation of breastfeeding process and suggestions of modifications, interventions, referrals as needed
  • Written Lactation/Breastfeeding Care Plan
  • Evidence based breastfeeding education and resources provided to parents as desired
  • Superbill with appropriate billing codes given for client to submit to her insurance company

Follow Up Home Visit(s):

Time for visit approx. 30-60 minutes

Fee $180

  • Follow up assistance and education provided in a continuum from the initial visit to facilitate the clients breastfeeding goals
  • Superbill with appropriate billing codes given for client to submit to her insurance company

Lamaze Base Childbirth Classes:

These extremely popular small group in person Lamaze Based Childbirth Classes are 5 couples per class, so availability is limited.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes:

Informal, informative, intimate 3-hour small group prenatal class that help moms learn the basics of breastfeeding so you can be successful at breastfeeding your new baby. Also covers the importance of a deep latch, common breastfeeding questions, dispelling of common myths, practice of breastfeeding positions, problem prevention, and pumps. Open to all moms, whether or not this is your 1st baby.  Partners are encouraged to attend.
